As truly said by Eric Zorn wrote, "Making resolutions is a cleansing ritual of self assessment and repentance that demands personal honesty and, ultimately, reinforces humility. Breaking them is part of the cycle."
The propensity of the human mind is to be maximum efficient, that is, to be the form or state which requires least effort and maximum gain, or rather say it as; no effort and full gain and that’s leads to all sorts confusion, mystification, discomfort, restlessness, embarrassment, mortification, discomfiture etc etc…… and thus the need arise to make resolutions. Whats the starting point to do that…. And that’s the New year Eve… what a occasion; but the simple human brain just forget that when it cannot make a resolution or such resolutions, at any other time, that is, at the time of realization; then how come this New year eve is going to help them in any good way… but the poor enthusiastic human mind is perplexed, as it is usually, and just gets carried away with these soft gimmicks of the marketing gurus.
This is how the question keeps on arising and is continuously investigated that “who came first, an egg or the Hen”. Thus, this making and breaking of the New Year resolutions goes on & on in the same cyclic order.
